Madison felt like she had been slapped hard, and she stood there stunned for a moment. She forced herself to hold back tears and pretended to distance herself from Neville, saying, “Sorry, Mr. Preston, for interrupting your enjoyment”
She had clearly heard about Alison’s plans for an evening meeting with him. If not for her interference, they might have finalized the date.

Alison disdainfully chuckled. “Maybe you’re not aware of the cruelty of the business world. It’s not like the pots the broom you hold.”

Alison treated Madison’s demeanor as a big joke, thinking Madison was just clueless.
When Neville returned to the car, Bernard sensed that something was wrong. Neville’s strong aura made him breathless and afraid to speak.
Neville felt an inexplicable irritability. He took out a cigarette, placed it between his thin lips, and lit it. The rapid inhale seemed to expel his frustration and annoyance.
He had excellent self–control and was never addicted to anything. However, he seemed to develop a subtle addiction to cigarettes.
The driver tentatively asked, “Mr. Preston, should I drive?”
Neville remained silent, extinguishing the cigarette, and then sent a message to Ryan.
After a while, Ryan’s assistant approached Madison and said, “Miss Guzman, Mr. Blanton wants to see you.”
Madison was still organizing her things. Upon hearing that, she stood up immediately. She knew this was Loveille’s only chance to turn things around. She thanked the assistant and followed him towards Ryan’s office.
Alison keenly sensed that something was wrong. She immediately blocked the assistant’s path. “Jarrett, didn’t Fliwip already decide to partner with the Conner Group? Why the change of heart?”
“I’m sorry, Miss Conner. I’m just passing on Mr. Blanton’s message,” Jarrett replied.
Madison entered Ryan’s office with Jarrett, leaving Alison blocked outside.
Alison clenched her fists, wishing she could tear Madison apart.
Although Ryan had heard of Madison, he hadn’t seen her in person. And he was stunned by her beauty.
Madison had a beautiful face and a good figure. Despite her slightly cold demeanor, she couldn’t conceal her stunning
charm.

No wonder someone as decisive as Neville would waver in matters of divorce Ryan thought. He raised an eyebrow and asked. “Miss Guzman, it seems you’re not satisfied with our decision?”
Madison assertively sand. “Mr. Blanton, even a condemned prisoner is given a chance to plead. I have the right to know why Loveille was rejected by Fliwip.”
Ryan was slightly surprised. He didn’t know Madison well, only hearing from Neville that she was very obedient. But she seemed different from the rumors.
Despite her gentle appearance, her eyes revealed a trace of toughness.
Suddenly. Ryan felt that Neville might have some misunderstandings about his wife.
“Miss Guzman. Loveille doesn’t have a solid foundation. Sure, it’s got a name for itself in a niche market, but it’s been treading water for the past three years. Honestly, it’s not really partnership material.”
He repeated Neville’s words, showing a hint of enjoyment in watching the drama unfold.
Madison furrowed her brows. Ryan’s observations were indeed sharp, pinpointing Loveille’s current shortcomings.
Her pursuit of what she deemed as happiness had led to neglecting her own business. Alongside Ross’s limited expertise in the fashion industry and her own focus on family matters, Loveille had hit a standstill.
In a fiercely competitive industry, remaining stagnant meant falling behind. If they failed to progress from where they were three years ago, they would inevitably be overtaken and eliminated by the market.
Madison desperately wanted to be herself, and she had to force herself to pick up the things she had neglected before.
She cleared her messy thoughts and calmly asked. “Mr. Blanton, how’s your opinion about Loveille three years ago?”
Ryan leaned back and said. “Impressive. Your designer, Elianna, always brought a refreshing feeling. But forgive me for being straightforward Elianna has had no new works for three years, and her initial design philosophy may not fit today’s fashion trends”
Madison’s eyes flashed with a determined light. Three years ago, Elianna could make Loveille famous. Today, Elianna is still Loveille’s ace. If you appreciated her style before, why not give her a chance and see her transformation?”
Seeing a hint of hesitation on Ryan’s face, Madison picked up Loveille’s bid proposal and handed it to him.
She exuded such a commanding vibe that made others submit.
Ryan took the bid proposal and quickly glanced at it. He had to admit that Loveille’s design philosophy matched Fliwip’s.
He glanced around and handed Madison the room card, saying, “Miss Guzman, I do appreciate your courage. However, I alone can’t make the decision. How about this? If you can convince my partner, I’ll give Loveille another chance.
Though it appeared to be a flirtatious move, there was a sincere smile on Ryan’s face.
Madison, despite some hesitation, considered this Loveille’s opportunity. She took the room card and said, “Mr. Blanton, you better prepare the cooperation agreement”
“Looks like you are determined to win. Aren’t you afraid my friend might have ulterior motives towards you?” Ryan said.
Madison smiled. “Have you heard the story of the mantis trying to stop a chariot? I don’t believe Fliwip needs to ruin its reputation just for me.”
Even though she was smiling, her words carried a determination.
Ryan suddenly sensed a certain similarity between herself and Neville, recognizing their shared fierce determination. It was said that birds of a feather flocked together.
After Madison left, Ryan sent a message to Neville. [Neville, I have a special surprise for you tonight. Enjoy yourself.
Alison saw Madison calmly walking out and realized that something was wrong. Annoyed, she blocked Madison’s path. asking, “What seductive tricks did you use to change Fliwip’s decision!”
Madison tilted her head and chuckled. “Do you think everyone’s out there seducing men, just like you do?”
Seeing Madison about to leave, Alison angrily grabbed her wrist. “Wait!“
In the struggle between the two, the room card fell to the ground.
