Chapter 131: Vincent Is Weary
Sandra and Lisa were both stunned.
Despite having bodyguards at the entrance, someone still managed to break in.
This made both of them curious about who possessed such ability.
However, when they looked over, they saw Vincent wearing an angry expression.
Sandra: “…”
The Hills were truly persistent.
Lisa was wondering if Sandra’s brother was a welcome guest.
Vincent thought that Emily had been bullied, so he rushed here.
But to his surprise, there were bodyguards at the door.
Having been in the showbiz for a while, he knew that people who involved in sex trade preferred to have bodyguards outside.
Without much thought, he immediately instructed his men to engage with the bodyguards and forcefully entered.
He had even planned to teach a lesson to anyone who had harmed Emily.
But all he saw was Sandra’s bewildered face.
Next to Sandra was Lisa, who looked as if she had seen a fool.
Vincent: “?!”
“What’s wrong?” Lisa’s face turned dark, instantly losing the playful demeanor she had just moments ago.
Her entire being emitted a deadly aura. It sent shivers down his spine.
Vincent had been working hard during this time, hoping to impress Lisa.
But before the final audition day, he had revealed his worst and most impulsive side.
Lisa asked, “Did you come for me?”
Vincent had been struggling in the industry for quite some time.
If he couldn’t understand such an obvious hint that she didn’t want to be disturbed, then he would be foolish.
“Someone said you had been bullied, so I came. It must be a trap.
As he spoke, he had already retreated to the door.
“I won’t disturb further. My apologies for the intrusion.”
At this point, he no longer had the mind to think about why Sandra was here.
As long as Lisa didn’t have a negative impression of him, he felt relieved.
Lisa waved her hand, “I’m fine. Bye.”
As Vincent walked away, Lisa smiled, “Thank you for coming when you heard I was in danger.”
Although she was smiling, Vincent felt a chill running down his spine.

Lisa must be angry.
He closed the door and wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.
The assistant and manager returned and were startled to see his pale face.
“Is Emily alright?”
“She’s fine.”
As soon as Vincent opened his mouth, he felt dizzy.
He leaned against the wall, exhaling gently.
Lisa’s bodyguards gave Vincent a disdainful look before resuming their posts.
Vincent: “…”
The assistant and manager were both confused.
Vincent pulled them aside to a quieter spot and slowly explained, “Actually, the people inside are Lisa and Sandra.”
The assistant was stunned. “What?”
The manager sensed that something was wrong with this situation.
Vincent squatted down, rubbing his messy hair with both hands.
He felt extremely irritated.
The manager asked, “We’ve been tricked. But how did you fall for it? Emily deceived you?”
Vincent didn’t answer but instead asked him, “What has Mason been up to recently?”
The manager sighed, “It’s impossible that he planned this against you. He seems to have disappeared. There are rumors that Mason might be leaving the industry because all his endorsements and projects have been canceled.”
Vincent’s face twitched. “Really?”
“His agent, Archie, seems to have vanished as well.”
Vincent’s expression turned troubled and furious once again. “If it’s not him, then who could it be?”
Although the manager knew it was unwise to say it, he spoke up, “Is it possible that your dear sister has been bought off or threatened by someone?”
Vincent’s movement paused, his mind still troubled because of Lisa.
He didn’t give much thought to this before, but now he felt that Emily was very likely to have been kidnapped.
“Go find the person in charge of the club and see what’s happening with Emily.”
The assistant made a phone call immediately.
It didn’t take long before Emily received the call.
Wasn’t she kidnapped?
The assistant quickly put the call on speaker.
“What’s going on?” It was Emily’s voice, sounding completely normal.
However, there seemed to be a lot of men singing in the background.

The assistant asked in a low voice, “Emily, where are you? Vincent misses you. Shall I come to pick you up?”
Emily smiled, “I’m having dinner with my friends. Tell Vincent that I’ll cheer him on his final audition day.”
She was as gentle as always.
The assistant hesitated for a moment but finally decided to ask, “Emily, did you tell the truth on the phone before?”
He asked in a vague manner.
Although Vincent was a bit displeased, he didn’t say anything.
“Where is Vincent now?”
The voice on the other end of the phone became much quieter, indicating that Emily had come out of the private room.
Vincent happened to look towards the opposite corridor and saw her.
VIP area was not accessible to just anyone.
Emily didn’t expect to see Vincent here.
He stared at her with eyes as poisonous as snakes.
Her heart trembled.
She felt like she might have brought trouble upon herself.
She deliberately used Vincent.
Because he was a star, there would definitely be paparazzi following him.
And the news about Mrs. Cooper is cheating would be spread.
She was just waiting for Sandra to trend on social media.
But now, it seemed that things weren’t going as smoothly as she had imagined.
“Vincent.” Emily walked over, looking anxious.
“What happened? Are you injured?”
