her unease palpable.
She found herself in a situation she didn’t want to be in, feeling the sting of potential
humiliation.
Every time Gisele closed her eyes, she couldn’t escape the nauseating weight of Michael pressing down on her, yet she couldn’t resist him.

Lowering her head, Dorian captured her lips in a passionate kiss, quieting her protests. His hands continued their movements, but they softened in their touch.
Reluctantly, Gisele could only endure. She shut her eyes, and a glistening tear trickled down from the corner of the eye.
Just as Dorian was about to adjust his position, he suddenly noticed her tears.
In that instant, a sudden blow struck his heart. It was unlike the rage that had consumed him earlier. Instead, it felt like a heavyweight, crushing his chest and making it difficult to
breathe.
Dorian froze, propping himself up with his arms as he took a deep breath. His expression darkened, and he forcefully pushed her away, sitting up.
“What are you pretending to be, some virtuous maiden?” he spat out.

Enduring the pain, she mustered the strength to sit up, adjusting her torn collar–a stark testament to Dorian’s aggression. With no other option, she sat beside him, her body hunched over like a startled bird.
“Start the car,” Dorian ordered, picking up his phone and dialing a number.
Within moments, Jon entered the car from outside, silently starting the engine and driving
away.
Gisele was visibly frightened, her complexion turning pale as she trembled, her lips quivering non–stop.

Despite the blood trickling from the places where her nails had pierced, she seemed oblivious to the pain.
Dorian’s heart sank as he instructed, “Quickly, drive back to Jefferson Manor. Have Eric wait there!”
“Of course,” Jon replied respectfully.
Dorian seized Gisele’s hands, preventing her from causing further harm to herself.
