“Hahaha…” Declan chuckled heartily in response.
Dorian observed as Gisele kept her distance from him, her posture stiff, refusing to lean into
his embrace.
The mere thought of Gisele affectionately leaning against Aspen stirred a wave of agitation within Dorian.
His hand instinctively found its place on her shoulder, drawing her closer and pressing her against his chest.
Gisele was taken aback by his sudden gesture. Worried that he might hold it against her later, she tried to sit up, creating some distance between them.
However, his grip remained strong, keeping her firmly against his chest.
In the end, she had no choice but to settle into this uncomfortable position, leaning awkwardly against him.
Sierra, originally heading to the restroom, stood at the corner instead, silently observing
them. Anger surged in her eyes, so intense it seemed her fury could ignite Gisele on the spot.
Meanwhile, on the other end of the video call, Declan grinned widely, his eyes disappearing
in his excitement.
With an enthusiastic nod, he said, “Alright, you two go ahead and eat. Grandpa won’t interrupt you anymore.”
“Okay, Grandpa Declan, please take a break after your meal. We can wait until it’s cooler
* outside to play chess together,” Gisele advised, expressing her concern about Declan playing
chess in the hot weather.
Declan nodded in agreement before ending the call.
Alfred, who stood near Declan throughout the video call, appeared puzzled. “Mr. Jefferson Senior, wasn’t Ms. McMillan also at the restaurant? Didn’t you mind?”
Upon learning from William that Gisele and the others were shopping and dining together, Alfred assumed that Declan’s call was to question Dorian and encourage Gisele to assert herself more.
Nonetheless, he didn’t anticipate the situation unfolding as it did.
Declan seemed to completely overlook Sierra, almost as if he didn’t even realize she was

“I bet you’re not aware, are you? Mr. William informed me last night that the lovebirds, Dorian and Gisele, kissed passionately from the car all the way to the villa,” Declan remarked with a satisfied smile, reclining in his rocking chair with a focused gaze.
Even though Don seems cold as ice during the day, it won’t be long before they develop strong feelings for each other. What does Sierra have to compare with that?
Declan believed that as long as Dorian changed, a remarkable woman like Gisele would surely be able to capture his heart.
Moments ago, he had witnessed the affection between the couple firsthand. However, William wasn’t actually a relative, he ran a private detective agency specifically hired to gather information through investigation.
While Declan remained content, the atmosphere at Gisele’s table had turned into a battleground.

to Aspen.
The dishes were gradually served, with most being Sierra’s favorites but not catering to Gisele’s liking
Sierra had a penchant for spicy food, while Gisele preferred milder flavors.
Despite the table being adorned with an array of exquisite signature dishes, only the Greek salad suited Gisele’s taste; everything else failed to appeal to her palate.
“Gisele, don’t be shy, dig in,” Sierra encouraged, before gesturing toward the scarf draped around Gisele’s neck. “Don’t you feel warm? There are no outsiders here; feel free to take off your scarf.”
As Sierra spoke, Gisele instinctively covered her neck.
Adorning her ivory skin were the love marks Dorian had left the previous night, and he hadn’t spared her back either!
“Don’t be self–conscious; we’re all friends here,” Sierra reassured Gisele as she approached and helped her remove the scarf.
With a sudden pull, Sierra swiftly tugged the scarf away, giggling shyly. “Oh! I didn’t realize you and Aspen were having fun like that. But Aspen, you should also be more considerate Girls deserve to be treated with care, not roughness.”
Sierra’s comment triggered a shift in Aspen and Dorian’s expressions, instantly creating
